We Believe in Community

A personal message from Dan and Moira
Community has been always important to us,
long before we founded Sonoma Sterling Limousines. Both of us
have long been involved with local nonprofits, and community
has always been a key part of our lives.
In Dan's 30-year career in law enforcement,
he showed a real dedication to service. That simply became an
indelible part of who he is. Throughout those years, Dan has
always maintained direct contact with the public. He says he
realized in his work that a community isn't going to advance
if people don't give back to the youth and the most vulnerable
segments of its population. His career gave him the opportunity
to reach out to everyday people, and he has found these experiences
to be very gratifying.
In the latest stage of his career, it is
Dan's desire to continue to give back to the community in the
many ways: financially, personally and professionally. His personal
involvement includes his work as a high school wrestling referee.
In the last two decades Moira has volunteered with the Boy Scouts
and Girl Scouts, with local elementary schools and with a senior
support services group specializing in helping older adults
age in place.
Because we value community, it is only natural
that we support worthwhile causes through our company.
The limo business is unique in the sense
that it offers a desirable and valuable commodity for many nonprofits,
and we're pleased to be able to help them in their worthwhile
efforts. Each year since the founding of Sonoma Sterling Limousines,
Inc., we donate a number of services and gift certificates to
help raise funds for nonprofits' silent auctions. We've also
been honored to provide complimentary transportation for U.S.
troops returning from Iraq back home to Sonoma County from San
Francisco International Airport .
